Episode 45: Version 1:45 : Dance Dance Execution

Here is the all new level we have all been waiting for… The “Dance Room”.
It’s the end of the world as they know it, and tonight the Pygmies party like it’s 199,999,999 B.C., which makes no sense since B.C. years count in reverse. But what they lack in counting skills they make up for in moves (like Jagger). Because deeper in Apocalypse temple lies the Dance Room, where the Pygmies can either boogie on the dance floor or shake it in the go-go cage. There’s also some organic party balloons filled with a gas that the Pygmies breathe in order to sound like a certain “David after Dentist”, the Youtube sensation: “I…I feel funny.”
But that’s not all! This update has our first mini-game since the Battle of the Gods. And you’ve probably already guessed that it’s a dancing game! Place a Pygmy on the center platform to begin Dance Dance Execution. In a cross between Tap Tap Revenge and Dance Dance Revolution, you must tap the icons in time with the beat, while the Pygmy dances for his life…literally! The dance loop, like the majority of the Pocket God loops, was composed by Grammy winner Christopher Tin, and features the voice talents of Brett Pels.
To celebrate our party update, our custom pack this time around is, what else? A Dance Pack! “Dance Pack Three” (99¢) features the Elaine Dance, Kony Guy Naked Dance, Hammer Time, Double Dream Hands, Bad Zombie, and the YMCA. Also, we are proud to introduce “The Pygmy Theme,” written and performed by “Nerdcore” punk superstar Parry Gripp! Parry is not only known for leading the punk band Nerf Herder, but he is also a solo artist that produces insanely catchy pop songs and YouTube videos.
Special thanks go to Chris Kennet for the Dance Dance Execution poster and for animating the pygmy dances.

NOTE: when you enter the Temples Chamber there are 2 exits now, one on left and one on the right. Use the one on the right to enter door number 2.

2. Hint: Do you have the stomach for it?
Solution: Poke Locust Queen in the belly.
NOTE: touch the big locust on the belly.

3. Hint: Snack time!
Solution: Serve Pygmy Snack to Locust Queen.
NOTE: Place the Pygmy on top of the locust hands.

4. Solution: Locust Queen swallows Pygmy.

5. Hint: The Miracle of Life!
Solution: Locust Queen gives birth to swarm.

Hint: On your Map click on the new Island that looks like a circle with a sun in it. Then click on the the door under the sun wheel. Drop a pygmy in there. Then, put a pygmy on top of the platform near the 2 torch lights. Tap the glowing area or drag across it to transform the pygmy. There is a lever and as you pull the lever to the right it activates a different effect of transformation:

1. Fast Pygmy
2. Ginger Pygmy
3. Baby Pygmy
4. Old Fart Pygmy

NOTE: if the lever gets stuck and you can’t move it any longer, reboot your device and it should fix it.

5. Pygmy runs into lava rock and explodes (this has a slight glow, just run over it)
6. Pygmy lands in lava and sinks
7. Bump Pygmy head on stalaclites (you have to get far in the game and a ceiling comes down above you and jump into it

7. Catch a swardfish from the ice hole
8. Swordfish slap a pygmy
9. Swordfish slap a sleeping pygmy
10. Pygmy eats swordfish and gets an ulcer
11. Drop a burnt Pygmy into the ice hold to cause ice geyser (go to Rock Island start a fire, burn a pygmy and return to Ice Island)

For this task you need to be under water and activate the Shark Blast Game!
7 Episode Tasks:

1. Grab chum from bucket
2. Fire shark laser – once you release chum in the water, the shark comes out. There is a shark icon in the shape of a circle in the lower right, click it to make shark fire.
3. Play the shark blast mini-game
4. Put chum in Pygmy’s hand
5. Feed chum to shark
6. Shark East Pygmy holding chum
7. Blast pygmy with laser shark – tilt the screen to put the moving target on a pygmy and fire!

You must be on Rock Island or as I say “Dino Island”. Activate the wood option for this:

1. Pygmy carries log to fire pit
2. Fill fire pit (this happens as the pygmies carry the logs)
3. Light Fire with lightning
4. Pygmy warms by fire
5. Cook fish with fire
6. Pygmy eats cooked fish
7. Burn fish on fire
8. Eat a burnt Fish
9. Eat a burnt fish (over cook the fish)
10. Poke fire and burn pygmy with flames (as they warm themselves, touch the fire and it will burn the pygmies)

Episode 18 – Version 1.17: Surf’s Up!

Players can now generate a tsunami by moving a finger across the water. The flood reveals a new underwater area, with a mysterious statue that protects ancient ruins. Tapping the statue will release a deadly spear that skewers the Pygmies. Pushing the water down will return the scene to the previous island. The new god stat screen is fixed and allows users to change their god type and shows users their achievements.

3. Defeat the t-rex (remove all pygmies except for 1, then throw spear and pick up Pygmy and move to opposite side of t-rex and do again until he is defeated… if he eats you he gets his power back)

2. Pick up Pygmy with hurricane
3. Zap Pygmy with lighting in hurricane
4. Pick up coconut in hurricane

6. Pick up fishing pole in hurricane
7. Pick up Spear in hurricane (you will need to release the dinosaur for this one)
8. Pick up wood in hurricane (you will need to be on Dino Island)
9. Pick up cooked pygmy in hurricane (the Pygmies must gather the wood, you must strike it with lightning to cause a fire and hold a Pygmy over it until he is cooked)
10. Pick up bird in hurricane
11. Pick up cooked bird in hurricane (cook bird over the fire)
12. Pick up banana in hurricane (Go to Ape Mountain, click the banana tree and a banana will drop, do this quick before the monkey eats it)

Episode 10: Hi Dracula

God Challenges and Hints:

• By the light of the moon – turn day into night then tap the moon three times to call the vampire bat.
• This bites – when the vampire bat reaches the island, wait for it to bite a sleeping Pygmy.
• It burns – with the vampire Pygmy on the island, turn night into day by dragging down the moon.
• Put on some sunblock – while you have a vampire Pygmy during daytime, before it gets burned with the sunlight, drag the meteor to the sun to create an eclipse.
• Batter up! I mean down! – after the vampire bat reaches the island, tap it once so it drops.

Other challenges in Pocket God Episode 10:

• Vampire Pygmy knocks Pygmies off island – after a Pygmy has turned into a vampire, it will chase down other Pygmies who will then end up jumping into the water.

Episode 10 God Level Up Tasks

• Vampire Pygmy knocks Pygmies off island
• Burn Vampire Pygmy with sunlight

Although Episodes 6 and 10 have the same God Level Up tasks, the two stages have different idols to level up, so you will need to play them separately. You also cannot increase the experience points, even if you perform the level up task, if you have not activated the challenge for that episode. You will need to be on that episode and have the challenge activated in order to level up the idol.
The challenges in Episodes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are part of the game’s basics that give you ideas on what you can do with your Pygmies. Most of these can even be found in the Help Menu on the upper section of your screen.
Pocket God is an entertaining game with a unique gameplay. You can play god and do what you like with the Pygmies all for fun, or tickle your imagination using the hints to complete tasks for every episode.

Episode 9: Idle Hands

Like the title says – idle hands – your fingers will do nothing and you’ll only need to watch the Pygmies do their thing.
God Challenges and Hints:

• It’s a bird. It’s a plane… – the Pygmy will look up the sky.
• Gas who? – watch the Pygmy fart.
• Itchy and Scratchy – watch Pygmy scratch butt.
• I’m bored – Pygmy will yawn.

Other challenges in Pocket God Episode 9:
Like the above tasks, these will happen naturally and you’ll only have to wait for the Pygmies to do their thing and your tasks will be instantly accomplished.

• Watch the Pygmy pick nose – yes, they pick their nose.
• Watch the Pygmy wave hello – Pygmy will smile and wave at you.

Episode 9 God Level Up Tasks:

• Fish-slap a Pygmy
• Drown pygmy with a shark smack

Episode 6-8 Walkthrough

Episode 6: And on the 7th Day, Rest!

God Challenges and Hints:

• Come to the dark side – drag the sun down so day turns into night .
• Color the sky – drag the sun until it sets (or rises) so the sky is colorful.
• Whooooaaaa – change time to sunset and watch the pygmies dazzle at the sky.

Other challenges in Pocket God Episode 6:

• Make Pygmies sleep – when day turns into night, Pygmies will sleep.

Episode 6 God Level Up Tasks
After unlocking the tasks in every episode, you will be able to open the Level Up tasks to level up your idol. You will need to do these tasks repeatedly to increase the idol’s level. Here’s a list of Level Up Tasks for Pocket God Episode 6:

• Vampire Pygmy knocks Pygmies off island
• Burn Vampire Pygmy with sunlight

Episode 7: Just Give Us 5 Minutes

God Challenges and Hints:

• Feel the rhythm – tap your finger (as though making a beat) to make the Pygmies dance.
• Crack that ‘nut – drag the coconut from the tree and drop it on the Pygmy’s head.
• Don’t let sleeping pygmy’s lie – drop coconut on a sleeping Pygmy’s head.
• Between a rock and a hard place – make sure you have enabled the meteor from the menu, then drag the meteor and drop it on a Pygmy to pin him down.
• Meteor strike – drag the meteor to one side and bowl the Pygmies on the island.

Other challenges in Pocket God Episode 7:

• Pygmy eats coconut – after cracking the coconut on the Pygmy’s head, leave it on the island until a Pygmy picks it up and eats it.

Episode 7 God Level Up Tasks:

• Make Pygmies dance
• Pygmy eats coconut
• Bowl Pygmies with meteor

Episode 8: Jump the Shark

God Challenges and Hints:

• Hangin’ with your best “chum” – hold a Pygmy above the water and wait for the shark to attack and eat it.
• The latest in head wear – pull a shark out of the water and drop it on a Pygmy on the island.

Other challenges in Pocket God Episode 8:

• Drown Pygmy with a shark smack – hold the shark above the Pygmy without dropping it so the Pygmy jumps into the water and drowns.

Episode 3: "You Always Hurt the Ones You Lava"
A volcano appeared in the distance. Challenge: Make the volcano erupt.
Episode 4: "Shake That App!"
The pygmies are affected by tilting, moving and shaking the iPhone. Challenge: Cause an earthquake.
Episode 5: "A Storm is Coming"
Dark clouds and lightning were added. Touch a cloud and drag your finger to create lightning. Challenge: Electrocute a pygmy with a lightning bolt that spells the pygmy's name.

Episode 2: "Does this Megabyte Make My App Look Fat?"

This gave Pocket God a behind-the-scenes update to the app engine that let the developers add things in following episodes. Challenge: Knock a pygmy into the water and rescue him.
